Guaranty Trust Bank has thrown its weight behind one of Nigeria’s biggest comedians Basketmouth by sponsoring his comedy tour with a whooping N30million. The show which is to hold on the 14th, 15th & 16th of February in Manchester, Birmingham and London respectively is almost sold out. The tour kicks off from Port Harcourt on the 9th of February and will hit Johannesburg on the 28th of Feb. It will end later in the year in Lagos on the 4th of May 2014.

Tonto Dike police arrest threat!

A national newspaper reported over the weekend that a movie producer threatened to arrest Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh with police if she doesn't show up for an abandoned movie production in Asaba, Delta Stat The news story had it that Tonto left the movie production on the excuse of travelling to Lagos last week Monday but was on another movie shoot.

Ejigbo Women Assault: Lagos Govt to Prosecute Suspects

The Lagos State Ministry of Justice on Wednesday expressed its readiness to prosecute those involved in the alleged torture of a woman and her daughters in the Ejigbo market area of Lagos.
The woman, her daughter and step daughter were subjected to unbelievable acts of torture and brutality for allegedly stealing pepper at the market.
